Level 4 NVQ REGISTERED MANAGERS AWARD (ADULTS) Study Method The programme is divided into a half day at College covering knowledge and understanding of one unit, followed by half day attendance in tutor groups and workshops over a monthly period. Students must attend a college interview and have supportive references Who the Course is For The NVQ RMA Level 4 is a vocational qualification, which confirms that a candidate with 2 years experience is competent to national standards both in theory and work practice. Candidates must be in a management position (Manager) although individual circumstances will be discussed. Assessment Candidates will need to demonstrate their understanding of the theory of management care by answering written question, writing personal statements, reflective accounts and case studies. Candidates will also be observed in the workplace by the assessor, to ensure that they meet the performance criteria. Entry Requirements An NVQ Care Level 3/4 would be an advantage, as this would ensure that the candidate already understands the NVQ structure. Some units from Level 4 in Care are transferable to this award. Candidates should be employed with client groups including adults, the elderly, mental health and clients with learning difficulties and have a significant level of management responsibility for staff and resources Content The Level 4 programme consists of 10 units of competence, which need to be achieved in order to obtain full qualification (unless units at Level 4 are accredited).
