Who the Course is For
Those students who wish to look after children at home on a professional basis. This programme develops the knowledge and skills for child minding practice step-by-step from the newly registered child minder.

A multiple choice paper set by the Awarding Body at the conclusion of the programame.
Course Leads To
Qualification in home-based childcare and allows student to look after children in their home on a professional basis. Progression onto Unit 2-5 of Diploma in Home-Based Childcare.

Entry Requirements
No formal entry requirements, although a good standard of English is required. Students must have registered with OFSTED.
